This series is and ode to the great many times in my life where I never felt seen nor heard.
By isolating - then featuring the parts of myself that are most commonly overlooked, this series forces the viewer to see me in excruciating detail at an overwhelming scale.
It forces you to stop and see the beauty in details glossed over.
It forces you to hear me with your eyes.

This series was completed over the course of 3 years, with parts picked specifically for their personal meaning and beauty

Given both the personal nature of the series - and the fact that almost all of my work features and is shot by me - all parts of this series were painted and modelled, shot and edited by me.
As far as passion projects go, this series has by far been the most fulfilling. I'm simultaneously terribly nervous and excited to finally be sharing this work with the world.
And more than that -
I'm excited to finally have a part of myself be heard.

P A R T S
HANDS
Delicate, strong and expressive. They represent a part that feels the world around you, when you sometimes can't. And unashamedly, I've always loved my hands.
LIPS
Sensual, dramatic and playful. They represent a voice that's rarely if ever heard.
NECK
Eloquent, strong and subtle. A quietly beautiful part that I find myself going back to time and time again. It may bend or sway, but it bows to none.
